What wonderful memories of Woolworths Does anyone remember the "Tea Bar?"   In the 40s we used to enter Woollies from the Hotel Passage, up the steps and the tea bar was on the right hand side.   Lovely meeting place with a cup of tea and a snack to your liking. I believe I bought my first lipstick and powder from there.  Snowfire vanishing cream and Bourjois rouge.  What wonderful days they were.  I think we could buy pretty well anything in Woolworths at an affordable price.  What a sorry sight to see it closed  .  I cant imagine anyone of our generation forseeing this happening.
