Hi I am researching my grandpa - charles herbert bailey known as Bert. He was an errand boy for E F Youngs before going to war in 1916. He returned from war and continued to work at the grocers shop and later at the International stores. Later in life he was a gardener at Torkington house and a painter decorator with his cousin Bert Green.
Would be interested in any information but particularly photos of the shops.
