Have been doing some research on WW1soldiers and came across a reference to a military hospital in Wothorpe, it appears to have been at Wothorpe villas, does anybody have anymore info on this establishment.

My grandfather died in a hospital at wothorpe during the 1940`s. The address on the death certificate is Wothorpe House. Wothorpe house is the top house at the left on Second Drift. This house was divided into flats during the 1970`s but I don`t know about it`s current status.

Seem to remember a small cottage hospital there until after the last war.
