Hi, I would Like to know if anybody has any pictures of east street near the dolphoin pub from around the date 1953-58.if so could you please let me know |

HI, I would love to see some photos of East St. I lived there after getting married in 1957. There were little cottages all along from The Dolphin to the corner where the Boys school bridge goes over the road. 3 or 4 little cottages on the corner of Conduit Road and East st. Mr Bell had his hairdressing shop in front of the Dolphin until he had a shop built opposite. no need for a crossing in those days, not much traffic, as all went down the High street before it was made into a precinct |
