I lived at 28 Reform St up to 1963 and remember most of the people (or their children) from both streets

If you can find one still, a great source of names and addresses would be an old copy of Dalby's Directory. I remember we had one at my parent's home.

Dolby's Directories do very occasionally come up on eBay. The last directory was published in 1969. If they bought a new edition, many people would throw the old one away. Age has also meant that many will have fallen to bits. It would be good to hear from anybody who has a copy, I have a disintegrating, coverless 1969 edition.

The Phillips room in the Town Hall has a collection of Dolby books and I believe the library does too.
