I wonder if there are still any Binghams living in Stamford. My grandmother was Ann a daughter of John J. Her siblings where William, Harry.Rubin and John. Thanks Ann
Kate: Any Binghams reading this?
Ann I can also put your query on Ancestor Gateway if you wish - just scroll down the main page of the website and click on add your name to our list of researchers. This is for countrywide research as well as local.

Kate not sure how I get on Ancestor Gateway. Please can you help. Ann
Hi Ann. Type the site name in the bar at the top of your screen.
www.ancestorgateway.com
You will then arrive on the front page of the site. If you then want
Stamford Memories Gateway the link is on the right hand side at the top. The email service on the main site to me (Kate) is not working at the moment - hope to have it back to normal later this week. You can, however send me a message through the Forum - as you have done today and it will get to me.If you want to Add Your Names to the Gateway research send to me on the Forum (because of the email problem) and I will post them on The Gateway for you. Thanks

I was at school with brothers Adrian and Michael "Binky" Bingham.
Michael joined the army straight from school under the young leaders scheme. Dunno what happened to Adrian.
I think the family lived in the Ryhall Road/Rutland Road area of the town.

Thanks Mike i'm not sure if these are from my family.I know Aggie had two sons and a daughter also called Aggie she had a son who had polio when he was younger. I believe they may have lived somewhere near Ryhall where my dad was born. thanks Ann
