Rumour had it he was from some sort of aristocratic background. Clem Walden July 14, 2008 @ 12:30 PM Reply  |  Email  |  Print  |  Top Dan, if you look at the "Local Characters" site you will see Walter Young mentioned, "aristocratic" not  heard that one before?  he was a local man "not sure if he was born in Stamford" but he did have family in the Town, the Youngs were a large family & are still in the Town, Walter died at St Geoges Home.
